Sales Manager in Hilversum

Lead the sales team of a Suzuki dealer in Hilversum, stay on the showroom floor yourself and help your salespeople get better every month.

What you’ll be doing

You start your day on the showroom floor, not behind a screen. You go through today’s appointments with your salespeople, join a tricky trade-in and watch how a new colleague builds a quote. Your team sells new and used Suzukis, and you help decide how the branch grows in the region.

You’ll work for a family business that is now run by the fourth generation. With more than 130 colleagues, it handles sales, maintenance and body repair from Amersfoort, Hoogland, Hilversum, Harderwijk, Almere and Zwolle. Big enough to grow, small enough to simply talk to the management.

• You give the sales team direction and keep a daily eye on results, customer satisfaction and planning
• You coach your salespeople in a way that fits their experience and ambition
• You’re involved in the entire sales process for new and used cars, and you step in where needed
• You spot commercial opportunities in the region and turn them into market share
• You have short lines to the management, so your ideas get heard quickly

What we’re looking for

• At least five years of experience in the automotive industry, you know how a showroom floor works
• You get people moving and enjoy seeing a salesperson improve through your coaching
• You think one step ahead and keep results and teamwork in balance
• You work easily with a DMS, a CRM and other systems
• You speak and write Dutch well and are available full-time
• Experience with Suzuki is a plus. Coming from another brand? You’re just as welcome

What you get

• €3,800 to €6,500 gross per month for 40 hours, depending on your experience, with a pension scheme under the Dutch collective agreement for the motor vehicle sector
