Mercedes-Benz and smart in Hilversum, with 32 or 36 hours open for discussion and APK training through the employer if you are not yet certified.

What you’ll be doing

A customer brings in their E-Class with a warning light that has already come back three times. You connect the diagnostic equipment and find the cause. In Hilversum you work with 25 colleagues on Mercedes-Benz and smart passenger cars.

• You carry out maintenance, repairs and modifications across the whole model range, from A-Class to smart #3.
• You diagnose and solve faults yourself. With a really tough case, the diagnostic technician looks at it with you.
• You get new and used cars ready for delivery in the showroom.
• With an MBO level 3 diploma you work as a senior car mechanic and take on the more complex repairs.
• You get your APK certification through the employer and then carry out inspections yourself.

What we’re looking for

• At least an MBO level 2 diploma in automotive technology. With MBO level 3 you start as a senior car mechanic.
• You speak good Dutch or English. Your colleagues need to understand you well in the workshop, for everyone’s safety.
• You have a driving licence.
• You are precise, see what needs doing and enjoy solving a problem properly.
• You are just as happy doing a job on your own as calling in a colleague.
• APK certified? That is a plus. Just finished your training? Your colleagues will help you get started.

What you get

• Salary between €2,800 and €4,000 gross per month, depending on your experience
• You develop through training at the brand importer or a technical school, so you keep up with every new technology.
• A 38 hour work week. Prefer 32 or 36 hours? We are happy to discuss it.
