Workshop Manager Trucks Mercedes-Benz in Tiel

Lead the workshop for Mercedes-Benz trucks in Tiel and help shape a new building from the start. With ADV and premiums.

What you’ll be doing

In the morning you go through the work orders: an Actros for major maintenance, an Atego with a fault and a customer who wants to drive back today. You make the schedule, put the right mechanic on the right job and check that the work meets Mercedes-Benz standards. And this year construction starts on a new building in Tiel, which you are involved in from the very beginning.

• You lead the team of mechanics and technicians.
• You coordinate the work orders and ensure efficient planning and execution.
• You check the quality of maintenance and repairs.
• You safeguard the safety and quality standards.
• You help your team with technical issues.
• You are involved in the construction of the new building from the start.

What we’re looking for

• You have completed a course in automotive technology.
• You have experience in a management role in automotive.
• You have experience with workshop management and leading a team.
• You know the work processes and technology of trucks and vans and can pass that knowledge on.
• You are customer focused, handle stress well and think in solutions. Are you a technician with management experience who now wants responsibility for a workshop? Then you are welcome too.

What you get

• Salary between €3,500 and €5,500 gross per month, depending on your experience
• A contract of 32 to 40 hours per week.
• 24 days of holiday plus ADV, to take as time off or have paid out.
• 8% holiday pay, paid out monthly.
• Premiums for working on Saturdays and in the evening.
