Technical Specialist Renault and Dacia in Tilburg

In Tilburg you step in when a fault on a Renault or Dacia gets tricky. Electric, hybrid or petrol, with APK training included.

What you’ll be doing

After a windscreen replacement, the driver assistance systems of a Renault Austral show error messages. You calibrate the camera, check the sensors and test whether everything works as it should again. After that you dive into a Dacia Spring with a charging problem. In Tilburg you work with 18 colleagues who know they can come to you with the trickiest question of the day.

• You are the diagnostic expert of the workshop for Renault and Dacia
• You work on petrol, hybrid and fully electric cars, from the Clio to the Mégane E-Tech
• You analyse fault codes and look for the cause in the on-board computer, sensors and wiring
• You carry out software updates, coding procedures and calibrations, so all systems work together again
• You record your work in clear reports and explain to customers what you have done when needed
• You also carry out APK inspections, and the employer pays for the training if you are not yet an inspector

What we’re looking for

• You have an MBO level 4 diploma as a technical specialist, or an MBO level 3 diploma as a senior car mechanic with additional brand or diagnostic courses
• You have experience as a technical specialist or diagnostic technician. Plenty of experience as a senior car mechanic and the drive to grow is also good
• You speak Dutch and English, because technical information is often in English
• You have a driving licence
• You work accurately and like to keep your knowledge of electric cars up to date
• If you are already an APK inspector, that is a plus
