In Tilburg you solve BMW and MINI faults yourself, with a diagnostic technician to fall back on and room to grow.

What you’ll be doing

A BMW X1 is on the lift with a fault that pops up now and then. You keep searching with the testing equipment until you see the pattern. If it doesn’t work out right away, the diagnostic technician looks at it with you and you learn from it yourself. In Tilburg you work with 29 colleagues.

• You carry out maintenance, repairs and modifications on BMWs and MINIs, and no two days are the same
• Today you change the fluid in an automatic transmission, tomorrow you replace a cylinder head or get a car ready for the showroom
• With modern testing equipment you make the diagnosis yourself, and with a tricky fault the diagnostic technician looks at it with you
• As a senior car mechanic you take on the more complex repairs and help colleagues grow, with technical specialist as the next step
• You also carry out APK inspections, and if you are not yet certified, you get it through the employer

What we’re looking for

• An MBO level 2 diploma in automotive technology is the minimum. MBO level 3 is a plus, and then you start as a senior car mechanic
• You have a driving licence
• You speak good Dutch or English, because agreements about safety in the workshop need to be clear
• You have an eye for detail and keep searching until you have found the cause of a fault
• You enjoy working on your own and in a team
• You are also welcome if you have just finished your MBO level 2 or still need to do the APK training
