Technical Specialist Mercedes-Benz in Gilze

In Gilze you become the diagnostics expert for Mercedes-Benz trucks. You get the complex faults, ADV and training to specialise further.

What you’ll be doing

Your day starts with the schedule and the work orders. Among them is an Actros with an electronic fault that a colleague could not resolve. You dive in with the diagnostic equipment, analyse what you see and look for the technical solution. Trucks are getting smarter all the time, and in Gilze you grow along with them.

• You solve the mechanical, electrical and electronic faults where others get stuck.
• You carry out maintenance, repairs and specialist work on trucks such as the Actros and Arocs.
• You work with modern diagnostic equipment and technical systems.
• Fellow mechanics come to you with their tricky questions, and you share your knowledge.
• You help think about efficient and sustainable solutions for the customer.
• You keep developing through training, so your trade grows along with the technology.

What we’re looking for

• You have an MBO diploma in automotive technology, commercial vehicle technology or similar, preferably level 4.
• You have relevant experience as a commercial vehicle or truck mechanic.
• You have proven knowledge of modern vehicle technology, electronics and diagnostic systems.
• You have a category B driving licence. A category C licence is a plus.
• You work independently, seek out collaboration when needed and want to keep learning. Currently a commercial vehicle mechanic who wants to specialise? Then you are welcome too.

What you get

• Salary between €3,200 and €5,000 gross per month, depending on your experience
• A contract of 38 to 40 hours per week.
• 24 days of holiday plus ADV, to take as time off or have paid out.
• 8% holiday pay, paid out monthly.
