Junior Service Advisor Mercedes-Benz in Gilze

Learn the service advisor trade at a truck dealer in Gilze, with guidance from experienced colleagues and training from the brand. No experience needed.

What you’ll be doing

At half past seven the first truck rolls onto the yard. The driver has to be back on the road this afternoon and wants to know where he stands. You take his story, check with the workshop and keep him updated until he can drive again. You work alongside experienced service advisors, who teach you the trade step by step.

• You are the first point of contact for customers and make sure they feel welcome.
• You turn what the customer needs into clear work orders, first together with a colleague and later on your own.
• You are the link between customer and workshop and keep the customer updated on progress.
• You help with appointments and the daily workshop planning.
• You learn to advise customers on maintenance, repairs and extra services.

What we’re looking for

• You enjoy working with people and stay friendly, even when a customer is in a hurry.
• You have a feel for trucks, transport or cars.
• You work accurately and keep the overview when it gets busy.
• You live within 40 kilometres of Gilze.
• You want to learn and are happy to take training for it.
• Never worked as a service advisor? Then you’re especially welcome, because your motivation counts just as much.
• You speak Dutch, as you’ll be talking with customers every day.

What you get

• A salary between €2,800 and €3,400 gross per month, depending on your knowledge and experience
• Training to become a fully fledged service advisor, through the employer and through Mercedes-Benz.
• 24 days of holiday plus ADV days, taken as time off or paid out.
• 8% holiday pay, paid every month instead of once a year.
• Allowances for working on Saturdays or in the evening.
