As the diagnostic expert for BMW and MINI in Goes, you solve the faults others leave behind, from software to high voltage. With 45 colleagues around you.

What you’ll be doing

A BMW iX shows a warning about the high voltage system that still keeps coming back after two visits. The workshop hands it to you. You read out the systems, lay the wiring diagram next to it and keep measuring until you find the cause. In Goes you work with 45 colleagues on BMW and MINI, from petrol to fully electric.

• You are the diagnostic expert: you step in when the technology gets really challenging.
• You analyse fault codes and track down faults in the on-board computer, sensors and wiring.
• You carry out software updates, coding procedures and calibrations, so all systems work together again.
• You sometimes join a customer conversation to explain in plain language what was going on.
• You also carry out APK inspections. Not an inspector yet? Then you do the training at the employer’s expense.

What we’re looking for

• An MBO level 4 diploma as a vehicle technical specialist, or an MBO level 3 diploma as an all-round technician with brand or diagnostic courses.
• Experience as a technical specialist or diagnostic technician. Do you have plenty of experience as a senior car mechanic and want to take this step? You are welcome too.
• You speak Dutch and English, because a lot of technical documentation is only in English.
• You have a driving licence.
• Electric vehicle technology gives you energy, you keep your knowledge up to date and you work in a structured way.

• Salary between €3,200 and €5,000 gross per month, depending on your experience
• A 40 hour work week. Prefer 32 or 36 hours? That is open for discussion.
