What you’ll be doing

A customer brings in his BYD Atto 3 for maintenance and mentions a ticking sound he hears at low speed. You take the key, ask follow up questions and put it clearly on the work order. You work together with the mechanics, the workshop manager and experienced colleagues, and step by step you get more responsibility.

• You are the link between customer and workshop: you welcome the customer at the desk and hand the car back afterwards.
• You map out what the customer needs and turn it into a work order the mechanic can get started with right away.
• You schedule appointments and help with the workshop planning, so you quickly learn how a workshop runs.
• You keep customers informed about progress, extra work and costs, so nobody is surprised at checkout.
• Every day you learn more about automotive technology and aftersales, with electric and plug-in hybrid BYDs as your learning material.

What we’re looking for

• You work and think at MBO level and speak and write good Dutch.
• You love cars, are curious about the technology and are not afraid to ask questions.
• You listen well, work accurately and stay calm when it is busy at the desk.
• You are available for 36 to 40 hours per week.
• Experience as a receptionist, desk employee, workshop employee or junior service advisor is a plus, not a requirement.
• Currently working in another customer focused job and want to make the switch to automotive? Then you are welcome too.

What you get

• Salary between €3,000 and €5,000 gross per month, depending on your experience
• Guidance until you are a fully fledged service advisor, with plenty of training along the way.
• 24 days of holiday, and at 40 hours you build up ADV hours that you take as time off or have paid out.
