In 's-Gravenzande you solve complex Toyota faults and pass on your trade to BBL apprentices. A role for someone who loves sharing knowledge.
What you’ll be doing
In the morning you search with a BBL apprentice beside you for the cause of a fault in a Yaris Hybrid. You explain what you are measuring and why. In the afternoon you carry out maintenance and inspections according to Toyota guidelines. In the workshop in ‘s-Gravenzande you are the diagnostics expert, the go-to person for colleagues and the coach of the apprentice mechanics.
- You take on the complex faults and analyse them quickly and skilfully.
- You guide apprentice mechanics on the shop floor, explain things and help them grow in their trade.
- You alternate diagnostic work with maintenance and inspections on Toyotas.
- Colleagues come to you with their questions.
- You coordinate progress with the workshop manager, so customers know where they stand.
What we’re looking for
- You have completed an MBO course as Senior Automotive Technician or Technical Specialist.
- You have extensive work experience as a (senior) car mechanic.
- You work accurately, independently and with a focus on solutions and like to share your knowledge.
- You have an APK (MOT) certificate, or are willing to get it.
- Experience training or guiding apprentices is a strong plus, and preferably you live in the Westland or the immediate area.
What you get
- Salary between €3,200 and €5,000 gross per month, depending on your experience
- A full time contract of 40 hours per week.
- 24 days of holiday, with the option to buy extra days.
- ADV hours that you take flexibly or have paid out.
- 8% holiday pay, paid out monthly.
- Training through the in-house learning platform and through Toyota, in a modern workshop with professional tools.
