Workshop Manager Toyota in 's-Gravenzande

Lead a team of Toyota mechanics in 's-Gravenzande and turn the workshop into a place where people grow. Working on cars yourself is allowed, not required.

What you’ll be doing

At half past seven you walk past the lifts with the schedule. One mechanic is unsure about a fault on a C-HR hybrid, another is waiting for parts. You shift the work so every Toyota is ready on time, and later in the day you have a development meeting with a mechanic who wants to grow. You manage the work and the people, and working on the floor is possible if you want to.

• You lead a committed team of mechanics and keep control of planning, quality and progress
• You make sure the work is done according to Toyota guidelines, smoothly and safely
• You coach mechanics and hold development and progress meetings, so they grow in their trade
• You build a workshop where everyone feels heard and where there is room for humour
• You are the point of contact for other departments and keep the goal clear: satisfied customers
• Working on cars yourself is possible, but your strength lies in organising and developing your team

What we’re looking for

• You have completed an MBO course in Automotive Technology, preferably level 4 Technical Specialist
• You are an APK (MOT) inspector or are willing to get this certificate
• You connect people and communicate easily with different departments
• Management experience in a technical environment is a plus
• Preferably you live in the Westland or the immediate area
• Experienced technician who wants to take the step into management? You are welcome too

What you get

• Salary between €3,500 and €5,500 gross per month, depending on your experience
• A full time position of 40 hours
• 24 days of holiday, with the option to buy extra days
• 8% holiday pay, paid out every month
