Technical Specialist Kia, Fiat and Opel in Wormerveer

Become the diagnostic expert for Kia, Fiat and Opel in Wormerveer. You work with 37 colleagues, and 32 or 36 hours per week is open for discussion.

What you’ll be doing

An Opel Mokka Electric reports an insulation fault in the high voltage system. You set up the safety measures, test the system and find the damaged cable. After that, a Kia Sportage Hybrid is waiting with a fault in the adaptive cruise control. In Wormerveer you work with 37 colleagues on Kia, Fiat and Opel.

• You are the specialist the workshop calls in when a fault can’t be found with a standard test.
• You work on petrol, hybrid and fully electric cars from three brands.
• You analyse fault codes, read wiring diagrams and look for the cause in sensors, wiring and electronics.
• You carry out software updates, coding procedures and calibrations and record your work in a clear report.
• You explain to customers what was wrong and you carry out APK inspections, with training at the employer’s expense if you are not yet an inspector.

What we’re looking for

• You have an MBO level 4 diploma as a vehicle technical specialist, or an MBO level 3 diploma as an all-round technician with brand or diagnostic courses.
• You already work as a technical specialist or diagnostic technician, or you are an experienced senior car mechanic who wants to grow into this role. Both are welcome.
• You speak Dutch and English, because a lot of technical documentation is in English.
• You have a driving licence.
• You like to keep your knowledge up to date and don’t give up until you have found the cause.

• Salary between €3,200 and €5,000 gross per month, depending on your experience
• 38 hours per week, and 32 or 36 hours is also open for discussion.
