Tyre Fitter in Wormerveer

Learn the tyre fitter trade in Wormerveer, in the Zaan region. No experience? You start with our two-day course and then work during the day.

What you’ll be doing

A customer lifts a set of wheels out of the boot and wants them fitted today. You check the rims and the tread, put them on the car, balance them and tighten the wheel bolts to the right torque. In this workshop in Wormerveer you work for customers from the Zaan region, on cars and vans. You work 32 to 40 hours a week.

• You change tyres and wheels, at a high pace in spring and autumn.
• You balance and align, so a car drives straight and quietly again.
• Outside the busy seasons the work is calmer and more varied.
• You manage the tyre hotel and storage.
• You replace wiper blades and bulbs.

What we’re looking for

• You have a category B driving licence.
• You can handle physical work.
• You work neatly and safely, even when there’s a line of cars waiting.
• Experience is not required. No experience yet? Then you first take our two-day tyre fitter course.
• Coming from another technical or practical job? You’re just as welcome.

What you get

• Salary between €2,500 and €3,100 gross per month, depending on your experience
• Our two-day tyre fitter course if you’ve never changed tyres before
