Technical Specialist Citroën, Fiat, Opel and Peugeot in Groningen

Four brands, one diagnostic bay: in Groningen you solve the trickiest faults on Citroën, Fiat, Opel and Peugeot. Training at the importer is part of it.

What you’ll be doing

On Tuesday morning there is a Peugeot e-2008 with a charging fault, next to an Opel Vivaro that keeps going into limp mode. Two brands, two very different problems, and in both cases you find the cause. In Groningen you work with 39 colleagues on Citroën, Fiat, Opel and Peugeot, from petrol to fully electric.

• You are the diagnostic expert of the workshop and get the faults that take real investigation.
• You read out systems and trace faults in the on-board computer, sensors and wiring.
• You work with wiring diagrams and factory information from four brands, so you learn something new every week.
• You carry out software updates, coding procedures and calibrations yourself, and you record everything in a report.
• You carry out APK inspections, or you get your inspector certification at the employer’s expense.

What we’re looking for

• An MBO level 4 diploma as a vehicle technical specialist, or an MBO level 3 diploma as an all-round technician with relevant brand or diagnostic courses.
• Experience as a technical specialist or diagnostic technician. Are you an experienced senior car mechanic who wants to take this step? You are welcome too.
• You speak Dutch and English.
• You have a driving licence.
• You like to keep your knowledge up to date and work in a structured and accurate way.

What you get

• Salary between €3,200 and €5,000 gross per month, depending on your experience
• A 38 hour work week. Prefer 32 or 36 hours? The employer will discuss it with you.
