Technical Specialist BMW and MINI in Numansdorp

In Numansdorp you are the one who solves the tricky BMW and MINI faults. Software, calibrations and high voltage, with training at the importer.

What you’ll be doing

A MINI Countryman comes in with a parking assistant that cuts out now and then. After a new windscreen, the camera also needs to be recalibrated, and that is your job. After that you dive into a BMW 5 Series with a fault that only shows up in cold weather. In Numansdorp you work with 42 colleagues on BMW and MINI, from petrol to fully electric.

• You are the specialist for faults the rest of the workshop can’t figure out.
• With diagnostic equipment, manuals and the manufacturer’s wiring diagrams you go into depth.
• You carry out software updates and calibrations and record your findings in a clear report.
• You bounce ideas off colleagues in the workshop and explain to customers what was technically wrong.
• You also get variety from APK inspections. The employer pays for the inspector training.

What we’re looking for

• You have an MBO level 4 diploma as a vehicle technical specialist, or an MBO level 3 diploma as an all-round technician plus brand or diagnostic courses.
• You already work as a technical specialist or diagnostic technician. Or you have plenty of experience as a senior car mechanic and want to develop in this role, then you are welcome too.
• You have a driving licence.
• You speak Dutch and English, so you can also read English language documentation.
• You keep searching until you understand where a fault comes from and you work accurately.

• 40 hours per week, with room to talk about 32 or 36 hours.
