Commercial Vehicle Mechanic Mercedes-Benz in Nijkerk

Work in Nijkerk exclusively on Mercedes-Benz commercial vehicles, from Citan to Sprinter, in a close-knit team of 22 colleagues.

What you’ll be doing

In this workshop everything revolves around commercial vehicles. You start with a painting company’s Citan, then a Sprinter with a camper conversion comes in that needs a new cylinder head. In Nijkerk you work with 22 colleagues, so you know everyone and you know who to call when you are stuck.

• You specialise in the Mercedes-Benz Vito, Sprinter and Citan, including the electric versions.
• From changing automatic transmission fluid to an engine repair: no two weeks are the same.
• With modern testing equipment you make the diagnosis yourself. If that doesn’t work, the diagnostic technician looks at it with you.
• Businesses depend on their van. You make sure it is fixed quickly and properly and back on the road.
• You carry out APK inspections, or you get your certification through the training the employer offers.

What we’re looking for

• At least an MBO level 2 diploma in automotive technology.
• You speak good Dutch or English, so you can work together safely in the workshop.
• You have a driving licence.
• You work accurately, see what needs to be done and work well both independently and in a team.
• An MBO level 3 diploma is a plus, with that you start as a senior mechanic. Just graduated? You are welcome too.

• Salary between €2,800 and €4,500 gross per month, depending on your experience
• A full time week of 38 hours. Prefer to work 32 or 36 hours? The employer is happy to look at that with you.
