Lead the coachbuilding department for Mercedes-Benz commercial vehicles in Veghel. You set the schedule and coach the team, with ADV and premiums.

What you’ll be doing

One Sprinter needs a body fitted today, a second is ready for bodywork and the customer wants to know when he can collect it. You divide the work, keep an eye on progress and adjust where needed. As workshop manager coachbuilding in Veghel, you work together with the coachbuilding manager on a workshop that runs well every day.

• You lead the team and monitor the schedule, so everyone knows where they stand.
• You coach colleagues in their development.
• You meet deadlines without compromising on quality.
• You work towards targets for productivity, costs, billing rate and customer satisfaction, and see your results.
• Together with the coachbuilding manager, you make sure tools and workshop are in order.
• You lend a hand yourself when the situation calls for it.

What we’re looking for

• You have experience as a workshop manager or in a similar leadership role.
• You work and think at MBO 3 level.
• You speak and write good Dutch and can make yourself understood in English.
• You work smoothly with Microsoft Office, such as Word and Excel.
• You motivate colleagues in a positive way and work in a structured manner. Have you been a foreman and are you ready for the next step? Then you are welcome too.

What you get

• Salary between €3,500 and €5,500 gross per month, depending on your experience
• A contract of 38 to 40 hours per week.
• 24 days of holiday plus ADV, to take as time off or have paid out.
• 8% holiday pay, paid out monthly.
