Convert Mercedes-Benz commercial vehicles into custom builds in Veghel: cargo bodies, tail lifts and interiors. You weld, assemble and finish.

What you’ll be doing

On the lift is a Sprinter with only a cab and a bare chassis. At the end of the week it drives away with a closed cargo body, a tail lift and lighting that works the way the customer wants. You build that together with your colleagues in Veghel, from the first weld to the final finish.

• You build open and closed cargo bodies, including tail lifts
• You connect lighting, tail lift controls and other systems, so everything works first time
• You panel cargo areas and fit interiors tailored to the customer
• You weld frames and carry out repairs on existing vehicles
• Every project is different, because every business owner has their own wishes

What we’re looking for

• You have an MBO or VMBO course in coachbuilding, mechanical engineering or something similar
• You can weld and have technical insight
• You enjoy working in a team, pick things up yourself and have an eye for detail
• Experience with cargo bodies, tail lifts and vehicle technology is a plus
• Knowledge of interior building, electronics or hydraulics is nice, but not a requirement. Handy and technical, but from another industry? Also welcome

What you get

• Salary between €3,000 and €3,700 gross per month, depending on your experience
• Work 32 to 40 hours per week, depending on what suits you
• 24 days of holiday plus ADV, to take as time off or have paid out
