Van Mechanic Mercedes-Benz in Gorinchem

Work on Citans, Vitos and Sprinters in Gorinchem, from diesel engine to clutch, and get your APK (MOT) qualification if you don't have it yet.

What you’ll be doing

Today you replace the clutch of a Vito, tomorrow you track down a fault in an older Sprinter and after that a new Citan comes in for its first service. In the Mercedes-Benz workshop in Gorinchem you work on vans of different model years, with traditional technology and new technology side by side.

• You carry out maintenance and repairs on diesel engines, gearboxes, valves and clutches.
• You carry out diagnoses and fix faults on commercial vehicles.
• You keep customers’ vans safe and roadworthy, so their work can carry on.
• You work closely with colleagues and share your knowledge in the team.
• You learn new techniques and technologies, so your trade grows with you.

What we’re looking for

• You have completed an MBO course in truck technology, automotive technology or commercial vehicle technology.
• You work accurately and do what it takes to keep the customer satisfied.
• You are a pleasant colleague who likes to share knowledge.
• An APK (MOT) qualification is a plus, or you are willing to get it.
• Currently working on passenger cars or trucks and want to move to vans? You are welcome.

What you get

• Salary between €2,800 and €4,500 gross per month, depending on your experience
• A working week of 38 to 40 hours.
• 24 days of holiday plus ADV, to take as time off or have paid out.
